Introduction

Emily Johnson is an accomplished leader with over 20 years experience in the technology industry, She has demonstrated success in the areas of strategic execution, innovation, and service excellence. With a proven track record in managing complex projects over cross-functional teams, she has excelled in culture and relationship development. Her expertise is focused on the ability to deliver quality results with the drive to exceed organizational goals.

Emily is an advocate for others within her organization as well as in the community, She’s held Chair positions in the HCA Capital Division’s Black Colleague Network and ITG Employee Advisory Group. She has also served on multiple comminity boards such as Trauma Help for Women (Director) and Spring Run Athletic Association (Vice President), while leading and supporting a host of local charities and community events. Some of her educational affiliations include the Bryant & Stratton College IT Advisory Board and NOVA Health Information Industry Education Council. Emily recently received several nominations for ELLKAY’s “Women in Healthcare IT” recognition program, many of which came in after being spotted as a panelist during CHIME20’s Diversity in IT discussion.

Emily’s determination expands beyond her workplace and community efforts. She maintains a very active lifestyle with interests that include international travel, salsa dancing, and enjoying a sunrise or sunset on the beach. Her physical fitness lifestyle recently ramped up as she began her bodybuilding journey and earned Pro status at her very first ameture competition in June 2022. A couple months later, she pursued onward to compete at the OCB Natural Bodybuilding World Championships where she won 3rd in her class. Prior to bodybuilding, Emily also performed on a Salsa dance team, earned her black belt in martial arts, competed with a traveling Roller Derby team, and volunteered to coach a group of young cheerleaders who ultimately won the first national championship title for their school. Finally, and most importantly, Emily values creating memorable moments with her family and loved ones.
